The project is an urban architectural project and it was founded on a deep urban analysis and proposal for the existing site.
The project in Kemeraltı district and in the overall zone there were two optional site to locate the project. Although these sites are in the same district, contexts of Site I and Site II show structural differences. The proximity of the transportation nodes is stronger at Site I while the density of people is greater in Site II. This unequalibrium problem turns out to be an urban proposal of the project. With this manner, project located in Site I and new alternative urban path was defined to offer vital zone with the helping of the historical
buildings and important nodes. For the architectural proposal this parameter was translated as an element of the project. Two public corridors were passed into the site as a divider. These corridors provides shorter connections between the roads, without touching to the project’s building. This approach gives an opportunity to use project site as a public realm and without preventing private circulation.
Furthermore, the program of the project and its locations were determined through environmental analysis.
