In ITU Ayazağa Campus, Central Class Building is very dominant building in area and has intensive use by students. The location of pavilion has its own specifications and data. “In the area there is a great gap as greenery space in front of very dominant and important building facade of Central Class Building” is description of the zone. Developing structure of the project by using the facade of the building as a canvas and manipulating of this facade grid by using environmental data from the site is the critical decision for the project. By the helping of swarm intelligence algorithm which specialized for this project and the algorithm of the building facade, the structure of the pavilion is designed. In addition, the opening sizes of pavilion are designed by,
special calculations and using data from the environment as ratio.
So, to create a new thing in a planned area, existing data of the site is redefined to create our new. All parameters come from the site and shaped Quilt Pavilion from beginning to end.
